Pukana: on tour to Aratoi

The Turnbull Endowment Trust was welcomed at the opening of the Pūkana exhibition at Aratoi, Wairarapa Museum of Art & History recently. Thanks to a Lotteries grant awarded to the Trust, Pūkana was able to travel to Aratoi. It was terrific to see the exhibition take on a new lease of life with tremendous new content added from the Aratoi’s collection and numerous items contributed by local iwi, Kahungunu ki Wairarapa and Rangitāne ki Wairarapa. It’s also great to see taonga from the Turnbull Library being enjoyed outside of Wellington. Pūkana runs at Aratoi until mid-August 2021.
