Miharo:Wonder Exhibition – Extended to 9 October
15 September 2021
The Miharo exhibition truly is a wonder, comprising 170 items from the Turnbull collection.
We are thrilled to announce it’s season has been extended to the 9th of October 2021.
Some items have recently been swapped out to ensure the safekeeping of the content.
This exhibition is merely a glimpse into the breadth of what the Library holds, but an extremely well curated one.
Items include paintings by James Barry, George Raper, Toss Woollaston; photographs from Andy Spain and Ans Westra; the Temple of Flora book, and an eleventh century Koran; cuneiforms from 800 BC and so many more.
It is a visual feast inspired by people past and present, telling their perspective of their world.
Under Covid Level 2 restrictions numbers will be limited to 10 guests at a time in the gallery. All are requested to wear masks, social distance, sign in, and comply with all National Library and Covid requirements.
Please do join us at this exhibition while it remains open: Mon-Friday 9am to 5pm; Sat 9am to 1pm.
