Heaphy Mural in the Alexander Turnbull Library Foyer

16 August 2021

‘Mt Egmont from the Southward’ is an iconic Charles Heaphy painting, held in the Alexander Turnbull Library. It has been representative of the Turnbull Endowment Trust since 2020 and we are proud now to partner with Resene and Aspiring Walls to create a beautiful rendition of this work as a mural in the Library foyer on level one.

We are working to share curated contents of the library through this medium. Based on digitised works from the Library, they can be installed in a few hours and are a colour and water-fast solution for feature walls in foyers, entranceways and household rooms around New Zealand.

The possibilities are almost endless, and this pivotal partnership will in turn  contribute to the fundraising efforts of the Turnbull Endowment Trust.

Watch this space as we develop this collaboration with our partners Aspiring Walls and Resene. Thank you to Neil Macdonald and Terry Isaako of Aspiring, for your amazing contribution and support.
